Welcome to Valentine Planner Day 9. It’s Valentine’s Day eve and today’s theme is Prep and Play. Hopefully you have most everything on your list complete and can spend more of the day playing than prepping.

We are hosting a Valentine party at the house tomorrow so I am spending a good deal of the day getting the house ready and adding a few Valentine touches.I will also be doing as much food prep as possible. Did you catch the Ghirardelli Chocolates Cheese Ball recipe in yesterday’s post? It’s easy, yummy and can be made ahead of time. I think we are also going to make a batch of Rice Krispie treats and use cookie cutters to make fun shapes that the kids can decorate. What’s on your Valentine’s Day menu plan?

Don’t forget to take time out to play today as well. Are there any fun Valentine’s Day family events happening in your area? Is there a local attraction that you have wanted to take the kids to? Maybe an hour or two at the park if the weather is nice? If you are in the Little Rock, Arkansas area, I recommend visiting the Clinton Presidential Center. The Coca-Cola: An American Original temporary exhibit is open today through Monday, February 15, 2016.

It’s the last day, y’all. We are almost there! Tomorrow we Celebrate (and rest).
